Beth Ann (Grossman) Copenhaver, age 51, of Frisco, Texas entered into eternal life on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas with family by her side.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Mt. Carmel. The Celebrant will be Fr. Mark Stoll. Mass servers will be: Carter Soppe, Kenna Soppe, and Mitchell Badding. Music will be by Marcy Anderson and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Choir. Soloist will be Steve Dostart. Lectors will be Alan Copenhaver and Dan Swift. Gift Bearers will be: Cindy Janning, Melissa Wagner, and Lincoln Neu. Eucharistic Ministers will be: Marvin Frischmeyer. Pat Soppe and Mary Brown. Casket Bearers will be: Russ Grossman, Todd Grossman, Jason Grossman, Ryan Copenhaver, Matthew Grossman, and Alex Wagner. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Carroll.
Friends may call at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll after 4 p.m. on Tuesday where there will be a Rosary prayed at 5 p.m., and a Christian Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m.
Additional visitation will be held at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

Born into this earthly life on March 6, 1965 at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll, Iowa, Beth attended grade school at Mt. Carmel and graduated from Kuemper Catholic High School in 1983. She earned her BS degree from Upper Iowa University in Fayette, Iowa.
Beth devoutly loved her family, warmly welcomed friends and was the consummate hostess desiring to make a personal connection with each person who entered into her life. She was a talented gourmet “chef” and “baker”, loved beautiful flowers, gardening and especially holiday decorating. Beth truly enjoyed traveling, biking nature trails, hiking the mountains of Wyoming and setting aside time to read suspense thrillers and love stories. Beth was a professional financial manager, critical organizer and encouraging team leader in home care services.
Beth is survived by and adored by her husband of 22 years, David Copenhaver, of Frisco, Texas, whom she married on December 16, 1994 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Mt. Carmel, Iowa; her furry family, Lucy and Elvis; brother Russ Grossman and his wife Gail of Carroll; brother Todd Grossman and his wife Deb of Carroll; sister Lois Neu and her husband Eric of Carroll; sister Lisa Wagner and her husband John of Carroll; brother Jason Grossman and his wife Lisa of Panora, Iowa; her beloved nieces and nephews; brother-in-law Alan Copenhaver and his wife Maryann of St. Louis, Missouri; and mother and father-in-law, Beverly and Phillip Copenhaver of Independence, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Louise (Janning) Grossman; and father, Darol Grossman.
