Philip Jerome “Jerry” Elston, 77 of Breda, died Monday, September 4, 2023 at his home in Breda, surrounded by his family.
Philip Jerome Elston was born on January 1, 1946 in Carroll, Iowa, the son of Philip and Helen (Stuhr) Elston. Jerry was united in marriage to Barbara Engle in 1967 at Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was an avid fisherman and bow hunter. Jerry loved live music and had a lot of music friends.
A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at a later date.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Elston; his daughter, Cassie and her husband Todd of Grants Pass, Oregon; his sister, Sharon Hepner of Storm Lake; as well as other extended relatives and many friends.
