Lucinda A. Ocken, 101 of Tamarac, Fl died at her residence after a short illness on June 8, 2020.

A Funeral Mass was held on June 27, 2020, at 11:00 AM at St Bernard Catholic Church in Sunrise, Florida. A Memorial Mass for Lucinda is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2020, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breda, Iowa. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Carroll, Iowa with the assistance of Sharp Funeral Home in Breda.
She was born July 29, 1918, in Carroll, Iowa, a daughter of Joseph and Katherine Reinart. She married Chet Ocken of Breda, Iowa on July 5, 1938. She became an LPN in 1964 and continued with her nursing career until retirement in 1992.
She is survived by her children Jerry (Virginia) of Council Bluffs, IA, Diane (Larry) Wilberding of Plantation, FL, Elaine Haubrich of Council Bluffs, IA, Sandy(Patrick) Goodwin of Dade City, FL; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Katie, son in law Larry Haubrich, great-granddaughter Leona and seven siblings.
