READER OF GOD'S WORD [LECTORS] MEETING/TRAINING will be offered by Fr. Mark and Deacon Greg for all persons [boys, girls, men, and women] who have received their First Eucharist and are in the 5th grade and older at the following times and locations:  Saturday September 22, 6: 00 p.m. @ Sacred Heart; Sunday September 23, 11:00 a.m. @ St. John; Sunday September 30, 11:30 a.m. for St. Bernard and Our Lady of Mount Carmel; Saturday October 6, 6:30 p.m. @ St. Elizabeth Ann Seton; and Wednesday October 10, 7:00 p.m. @ St. Augustine.  All current Readers of God’s Word [Lectors] are encouraged to attend hour-long session for some updating so all may help proclaim the Word of God clearly and understandably so that all who hear may respond.  Youth Readers [grades 5-HS] will be assigned the First Reading.
